The market for scented candles today includes thousands of variations of this product. We understand that in such abundance, it’s quite easy to get lost and make the wrong choice. Therefore, we want to tell you why you should prefer scented candles from BY VELCHEVA.
When making any purchase, you should pay attention to the composition. Our candles are made from natural coconut wax, without the addition of paraffin. Why did we decide this? Because using paraffin now, when there are a huge number of more practical alternatives, is at least outdated. Natural wax candles melt evenly, without forming tunnels or leaving "rims" on the edges. By choosing a natural candle, you will use all the material you paid for, instead of throwing away half the candle with unused product on the walls. Moreover, the burn time of a natural wax candle is longer than that of its paraffin competitor: due to the full use of the raw material, of course.
We offer candles with two types of wicks: cotton and wooden. A scented candle with a cotton wick burns smoothly and quietly, gently spreading its aroma in the room. A candle with a wooden wick emits a characteristic crackling sound, similar to the sound of logs burning in a fireplace.
Of course, a candle requires care. First, any wick needs to be trimmed. Soot often forms at the end of the cotton wick, causing the candle to smoke and lean to one side. This can result in the flame heating the glass, which can eventually crack. The wooden wick also needs to be trimmed periodically, or the flame will be too high. A useful tip from Kaori: if your candle stops crackling after you trim the wick, gently separate the wooden pieces with manicure scissors.
